Summer isn’t complete without rocking some tank tops and strapless tops on those gorgeous days and hot nights. To feel and look our best, we need to make sure our arms and shoulders are toned and sexy, without any extra jiggle.

Working on our shoulders, biceps, and triceps will make sure our arms are nice and tight. I have three of my favorite, easy arm exercises detailed below for you to try. You’ll need basic gym equipment, but nothing that is hard to access. Before you know it, you’ll impress everyone with your sexy arms and shoulders.

Shoulder Press
Helping your shoulders look amazing, these presses will give you a great upper body workout.

Set-Up: Sit on a bench with your back straight and a dumbbell in each hand. Hold dumbbells shoulder width apart, with elbows bent and palms facing in.

Action: Extend your arms overhead, pressing the weights up, keeping your palms facing in. Hold for 2 counts, then slowly lower the weights to the starting position. Do 3 sets of 12-15 reps.

Rope Triceps Press Down

If you want great arms, you definitely have to work those tricep muscles. These muscles are the biggest muscles in the arms and are responsible for that sexy arm definition, and also, that jiggle free zone us ladies desire. You will need a rope attachment on the high pulley of a weight machine for this one.

Set-Up: Strand straight, grab the rope with your palms facing each other, and your forearms bent 90 degrees. Keep both arms as close to your torso as possible.

Action: Extend your arms straight down by contracting the triceps. When your arms are fully extended, hold for 2 counts, then reverse to return to the start position. Do 3 sets of 12-15 reps.Remember: Never allow the rope to fly back up. You could easily strain a muscle or cause other injuries.

Bicep Curl
I call the bicep, the glamour muscle 🙂

Set-Up: Hold a pair of dumbbells in each hand, arms fully extended, palms facing away from you, and stand tall with feet hip width apart.

Action: Without moving any other body part, bend your elbows and curl the dumbbells to your chest. Pause for 2 counts, then slowly lower the weights to the starting position. Do 3 sets of 12-15 reps.

Bicep-Curls
These exercises are some of the simplest ways to quickly sculpt your shoulders and arms for the hot weather. As with any exercise, when you first begin you may feel a bit of a burn or some soreness. Don’t ever allow yourself to get discouraged. A great body takes work, so imagine how you’ll feel when your arms are solid and gorgeous. Keep your focus on your goals.
