Chocolate Protein Pancakes
It is important to get a healthy dose of protein into your meals. What is a better way to start your day off than with chocolate protein pancakes? I love this recipe from Clean Crush Food!
This recipe below makes 4 large pancakes.
Dry ingredients:
1/2 cup oat flour (ground oatmeal),
1 scoop of your favorite chocolate whey protein,
1 Tbs unsweetened cacao powder,
1/2 tsp baking powder,
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Combine dry ingredients well with a fork.
Wet ingredients:
1/2 mashed banana,
3 egg whites,
1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract (or shaved vanilla bean)
Mix wet ingredients, then combine wet with dry.
Mix it with a fork until combined well.
Top it off with fresh fruit for something extra.
